A very bright Artist Julius John visited Sanjan Nagar School along with Ms.Seher Tareen and her five years old son Hussain and Ms.Beena Raza. Julius is recently graduated from NCA and got Fulbright Scholarship. On same day, some of our students from middle school were doing their drawings and paintings for an art competition. Julius saw their work and he liked students’ ideas and art work. He gave some tips to students and also promised to come back and do some workshop with our students on mapping and mind-mapping. We tentatively plan his session in April and June before he leaves for U.S.A. Ms.Seher were also very impressed by Sanjan Nagar students. Her Testimonial is

12th Feb, 2014:

a)      Ms.Carey Schofield, Principal of Langlands School and College, Chitral visited us. She took a round of SN with SN Principal. She interacted with ECE children busy in different hands-on activities. MS.Raheela told her that in Primary school we have no Specific text books because the approach of teaching and learning is inquiry-based. We are in candidate phase of Authorization of IB-PYP. Ms.Carey observed grade five in school library while having a session on environmental issues. She met with some students of High school and teachers as well. Her comments are;
    “This is an astonishing school. I am truly impressed and inspired by what you have achieved. I do hope that we will be able to establish an ongoing connection between our schools.”

b)      Ms.Afshan Qureshi and her daughter Neena Qureshi also came yesterday along with Ms.Tasneem Maqbool. Neena is from New York and recently completed her degree in Education. She wants to teach at Sanjan Nagar from next week to till May 2014. She also observed grade five and had chat with them. We request her to come at least three days  a week and take language classes of students and teachers. I will send her tentative schedule.

c)       A team of Value T.V took shots of our music classes, students P.T and science experiment performed in chemistry lab.This is for their new program “MERA SCHOOL”.
