Sanjan Nagar's students victorious participation in Bridging Barriers Competition 2016

On Sunday, 28th of February 2016, students of grade 8th and 7th participated in Bridging Barriers contest held at LUMS University, Lahore. This year the theme was Childhood and Freedom. The contest was held among four different schools of Lahore.  The contest consisted four segments i.e. Debates, General Knowledge, Sports and Dramatics. Our school students exhibited great performance in each of the contest and earned a runner up trophy.

Here is result summary

Debates: 1st prize in individual and runner up as a team over all we were 2nd position.

General Knowledge: winner in one quiz and 2nd in written test.  Overall 2nd position .

Sports: 1st prize in Lemon & Spoon race, 2nd in Sprint and 2nd in a team play “Don and the bone”.

Dramatics: We got Best actor and Best actor in supporting role medals and over all we were 2nd in dramatics.

Arts & Model making: 1st prize winner on drawing and model making on the theme of “The childhood”

Besides earning Runner Up trophy the most constructive things was that students improved their learning this time we selected students who had not been back benchers and they performed really great. We also learn felt a few drawbacks which we shall work on next time and try to win the first position as we did last time.

This all happed because of the environment being provided by Sanjan Nagar School authorities and hard work of the team and students.
