South Asian Olympic Association organizes the South Asian Games after every 3 years. 

This time 12th South Asian Games took place at Guwahati and Shillong, from 6th to 16th February, 2016, India. The South Asian Countries, Pakistan. India, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and Maldives participate in these games. Wushu is also the part of these games.

This time Miss. Rukhsana Hanif of Pakistan Wushu Team also participated in these games in Sanshou -60Kg weight category. She didn’t get any bye in draws and has to compete with the top players of all the seven countries in their-respective weight category. She played very hard and competed with Bangladesh, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Maldives & Nepal and won the fights. In Semi Final she did their best but couldn’t be able to win the fight against Sri Lankan Player and got the Bronze Medal for Pakistan. Miss. Rukhsana Hanif proves himself a good player and did her best in the competition.
