3rd Faiz international Festival held on 17,18 and 19 November 2017 at Alhamra Art Council. The Festival, organized jointly by Faiz Foundation Trust and Lahore Arts Council, held for three days. It was an amalgamation of Music, Art and Literature.

Students of Sanjan Nagar showed their creativity in theater, by performing on one of the famous Ghazl of Faiz ‘’Umeed –e-Sehr – Ki Baat Kro”. School choir sung this ghazal. Students of senior school also presented a tribute to famous Poets by organizing a Bait Bazi Competition as well.

Sadaf Yousas student of grade 12 presented melodic rendition of Faiz’s poem “Mera Dard Naghma-e- Bey Sada" Students from grade 6 and seven did readings from “Such Kay Waris” These stories are written by “The Heer Group” led by Raza Kazim and coordinated by Ms. Yasmin Javed. The Story was: “Jhamray Ka
Ammu”. Letters of Waris Shah were also read by Mr. Abuzar Ayub and students. Students and faculty of Sanjan Nagar also show cased their artistic nature through Puppet making, Face painting and craft stalls.

More than 70 different events related to arts, music, literature, politics and culture had scheduled for this event. The whole experience of attending this festival was marvelous.
