LAHORE - A Two-Days Children’s Literature Festival (CLF) held at Children’s Library Complex. The event was jointly organized by Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA), Oxford University Press (OUP) and Open Society Foundations. The festival on the theme ” Unlocking the Power of Reading ” base aims to promote love of reading in children, so that they can be critical thinkers , to ask questions , learn Access to Information form of books and other resources .
Sanjan Nagar school students sang the Tarana “Humain Kitab Chahyain” in the opening and closing ceremony of CLF-2013.They also participated in the art competition of Drawings and paintings, BOL K LUB AZAD HAI TERY and creative writings. Overall it was a fabulous event and students enjoyed it a lot.
