The 12th Annual Sports day of Sanjan Nagar School was held on 9th Feb 2013. It was a beautiful sunny day. The Annual Sports Dayis one of the most popular events, eagerly awaited by student and parents alike.
We were privileged to have Mr. Faisal Bilal Qureshi (C.E.O Elemetec) as our Chief Guest accompanied by his sister Ms. Zainab Quraeshi on this sports day. Mr. Faisal Bilal very generously donated the construction of 2 new classrooms rooms in our High school building block.
It was a greater honor for us that we had on the 12th Annual Sports day the presence of Mr. Raza Kazim the Patron and founder of the SNPET and the visionary behind this phenomenon of entitlements through enabling learning. Among other dignitaries present included: Dr. Sajid Maqbool, Mrs. Tasneem Maqbool, Ms.Nuscie Jamil, Mr. Owais, Ms. Baela Raza Jamil, representatives from Alif Laila Book Bus Society, ITA and the Sanjan Nagar Institute for Philsophy and Arts (SIPA). There were 100s of parents and siblings present and other well wishers eager to witness the sports day. We are really grateful that they shared their most precious time with us.
Amina Shehzadi, student of grade 10th of Sanjan Nagar School System Hima Campus (morning shift) did the compering for the event alongwith faculty member Ms.Aneela Basharat. They shared with the audience a brief history and inspiration of the Sanjan Nagar School, " as a contemporary act of faith" as expressed by Mr.Raza Kazim, who is the founder of this trust school. He always, had a firm belief in the potential of women. Now with the Grace of God Sanjan Nagar school has 3 campuses. Two campuses share the same location at the purpose built building - Glaxo Town running in morning and afternoon shifts. This campus has been recently named the " Hima" campus - inspired by two extra-ordinary women Begum Hima Akhlaque Hussaina and Hima N. Raza, both educators and authors/poet who sadly are no more but their work and ideas are testimonies to their enlightenment, innovative thinking and courage.

About Houses
At Hima campus, we have four houses: Hima House, Rana House,Mumtaz House & Fatima house. These houses are named after well known female activists, who worked hard in their respective fields, remembered for their courage & bravery.
Hima house named after Begum Hima Akhlaque Hussain in 2000; Rana after Begum Rana Liaquat Ali Khan; Fatima to remember Ms Fatima Jinnah and Mumtaz house to commemorate the life of Begum Mumtaz U. Karamat. Each year students are elected house captains and vice captains responsible for many tasks of leadership and target setting.
