Music is the purest form of art, and therefore the most direct expression of beauty, with a form and spirit. It has the potential to change a mood, to shift an atmosphere, and to encourage a different behavior. Musical concerts have also refreshing effect on our moods as it releases hormones like cortisol which are responsible for lowering stress.
Sanjan Nagar senior school’s music department organized a lively concert for its students to lower the stress faced during and after COVID-19 holidays. A well-managed and well organized concert was witnessed by all students from Grade 6 to 12 on November 10, 2020 (Tuesday).
Grade 8 organized the event under supervision of music teachers. Students enjoyed mesmerizing solo performances to duet that ended with beautiful jamming of Raag Aiman.
This event was completely led by students and they chose songs by themselves including songs from 90s to English and latest local music with the essence of classical music.
Objective behind this event was to follow the constructive approach where we value students’ point of view too in order to make them feel more empowered.
Following are the students who performed in the event and they are part of school choir too,
