Learning Resources

The Peace Project

We aim to bring social change in local communities by creating partnerships with individuals, non-profit organizations, and institutions working with local communities through awareness and advocacy campaigns, literacy programs, promotion of the arts and culture, and gender mainstreaming. For the purposes of our organization, social change is the sociocultural transformation of attitudes and patterns of behavior toward members of certain religious, ethnic and cultural communities within our community and society at large.

The idea of ToffeeTv stems from arduous hours of searching Urdu stories and songs for children similar to that of Cassette Kahani. As the search continues the sad realization has set in that our heritage has simply not been captured in the realm of providing our children with the opportunity of learning the Urdu language through imagination.

The idea is not simply to engage children through multiple intelligences in learning that is absolutely valid but also to generate content. The main aim of CLF is to inculcate the love of reading among children and promote critical thinking and creativity by giving children an opportunity to explore themselves and by inviting different prominent children's authors, artists, TV celebrities, journalists who have different interactive sessions with children to encourage and motivate them.
