With great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit, Sanjan Nagar celebrated the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan. The program was designed to remind our students of the value of freedom, the sacrifices behind it, and their role as responsible citizens of Pakistan.
The event commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran and the Bible, setting a blessed and respectful tone for the day.
Program Highlights:
1. Speeches & Messages
Students from Grade 6 to 10 delivered thoughtful speeches.
They spoke about Quaid-e-Azam’s message of 11th August, his vision for a united Pakistan, the sacrifices of our leaders, and the cultural diversity that makes our country beautiful.
Senior students also emphasized how the youth can become responsible citizens by working hard, staying honest, and contributing positively to the nation.
2. Musical & Poetic Performances
The celebration was filled with music and poetry that stirred patriotic emotions
Ahbal of Grade 4 played Sohni Dharti Allah Rakhy beautifully on the piano. Other students from different classes presented group songs, including Mere Watan and Har Aik Pakistani Ne Pukara Pakistan.
Dil Dil Pakistan, Shukriya Pakistan, and Sohni Dharti with great energy and joy.
3. Interactive Quiz
A quiz on Pakistan’s history, culture, and national heroes was conducted. Students participated actively and were rewarded for their knowledge and spirit.
4. Teachers’ Voice
The microphone was opened for teachers who shared heartfelt messages on unity, patriotism, and the importance of education in nation-building.
The celebration concluded with a united and resounding slogan: “PAKISTAN ZINDABAD!”
This Independence Day program was more than a celebration. It was a reminder that the freedom we enjoy today came at a great cost. It is now our duty — especially our students’ duty — to study with purpose, serve with honesty, and work together to make Pakistan proud.
