On July 25, 2024, ITU facilitators Muhammad Ehtisham and Adnan Siddique led an engaging session on remote sensing and Earth observation at Arfa Technology Park. Attended by students, parents, and teachers from SNPET-HSS, the event aimed to demystify satellites, satellite imagery, and machine learning applications in climate science.
Participants enjoyed informative lectures on satellite types, the importance of satellite imagery, and interactive Earth explorer tools. The session featured fun activities like virtual mountain driving, viewing satellite images of favorite places, and creative games with satellite imagery.
The event successfully sparked curiosity and enthusiasm for science and technology among attendees, especially the Sanjan Nagar School students who showed commendable participation.
